Fido Authority is an independently owned and operated business that provides pet-waste removal services to residences and commercial properties, you agree to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). By accepting the Services you hire us for, you are bound to these Terms.
The customer understands our ability to provide the Services can be dependent on weather, condition of grass height, access to your yard which is your own responsibility, and other unknown outside influences.
BILLING
If you would like to sign up for recurring services, Fido Authority requires you to save a debit or credit card on file for monthly payments. This insures easy payment for you and ensures that we are paid for our services. We do not want to have to chase anyone for payments for services that have already been completed. Fido Authority pre-bills monthly for our services. Your first invoice is due for payment before your services start. Each month afterwards, your account will be automatically charged on that same day via recurring invoices through Jobber. If your card is declined or your bill is unpaid for any reason, we will discontinue service immediately until the payment has been received. If more than 30 days have passed since your last clean up and you would like to resume services, an initial clean up fee will be applied. One Time Cleanings require a deposit to hold your appointment time and the remainder of the cost will be billed directly after the service has been completed. Payment is due within 24 hours. If payment becomes more than 30 days late Fido Authority will turn your account over to collections.
INITIAL CLEAN-UPS / ONE TIME CLEAN-UPS
Before starting one of our weekly services we require an initial clean-up and clean-up fee. The cost of this clean-up starts at $75 and goes up from there depending on how long it has been since the yard was completely poop-free. It also depends on the size & composition of your yard. We require a $xx non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. This will go towards the final cost of your clean. We also require a 48 hour cancellation notice. If you cancel the appointment after the 48 hour window, your deposit will not be refunded. This protects us in case you cancel last minute and we cannot rebook that time slot for another customer or if we arrive to your appointment and cannot get ahold of you to access the yard. For one time / initial cleans we also require the customer to be home so that we can meet, you can show us the yard and provide final payment. After the initial clean, we do not require you to be home, as long as we can access the back yard and the dogs are secured inside. You will be given a cost estimate based on the details you provide on your request form however, if we arrive and the amount of waste is much more or even less we will adjust our fee for that initial clean. If we arrive and the waste accumulation is only about a week’s worth, we will waive the initial clean-up fee and start your weekly services instead, which we invoice monthly. We are not in the business of overcharging for our services however, we also know what a week, month or 6 months of poop accumulation looks like.
ACCESSING YOUR YARD
The Customer understands that if on the scheduled day of service, Fido Authority cannot access the area needing cleaning, due to locked or blocked gates or dogs in the yard; the scoop will be skipped and charges will still apply.
DOGS IN THE YARD
For the safety of our scoopers and your dogs, all dogs must be inside while we provide our services. If we have been introduced to the dog(s) and they are friendly, we do not mind if they are in the yard. The Customer understands that if on the scheduled day of service, if dogs are left in the yard while you are not home and we have not met the dogs, Fido Authority cannot provide services and the scoop will then be skipped and charges will still apply.
LEAVES, DEBRIS AND TALL GRASS
It is very important to keep your yard maintained. If your yard is not maintained (i.e. – fallen leaves, long grass, plant or weed overgrowth) it is extremely hard for us to see and therefore scoop all of the dog poop. We will always do our best to clean up the poop in your yard however, fallen leaves and long grass can camouflage dog poop very well, making it difficult to find. We understand that maintaining your yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be very difficult to find dog poop in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall when we come, there may be some dog waste that is missed. We will be back on our next scheduled visit and will get anything that was missed if yard maintenance is complete. WEATHER
Fido Authority will work through the rain as long as we can safely do so. The customer understands that if there is extreme weather or flooding, Fido Authority will postpone service until the weather has cleared up. Fido Authority is a MONTHLY subscription service. We do not offer refunds for missed weeks due to weather. Therefore in these cases, we will skip service for that week, and see you the following week. A refund will not be issued as we still have to pick up all of the dog poop that would have been scooped the prior week. If you need the area cleaned before your next scheduled service, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee it.
Additionally, we do not want to tear up your yard in any way. If it is really muddy, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out.
PRIVACY POLICY
We may collect personal information from you on our Sites or through any other digital or personal communication with you. Information collected by us is voluntarily provided by you and may include information such as your name, email address, phone number, and physical address. Our Sites may collect general information about the service you are requesting such as the type of property and area needing service, the type and number of pets you have, and general information about your pet’s behavior.
We collect information about you in order to provide you with our services. We use personal information about our users for a variety of purposes related to our business, your information is for Fido Authority’s use only. We will never sell your information or send it to third parties. We may provide user information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes of, including without limitation, processing your payments or sending information to you, data tracking, maintenance or development of our System. We may also share your personal information in connection with law enforcement requests or in response to investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or as otherwise required by law. Fido Authority provides the above Services to you subject to the Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website. We recommend you visit the our website to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute acceptance to any changes to the Terms. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
